The EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0) is a reliable instrument for measuring emotional intelligence.
First, a questionnaire is used to measure a person’s emotional intelligence.
Candidates answer questions about how often they use various emotional skills. The focus of the survey is on quantity, not quality.
This is followed by the coach’s interpretation and the derivation of measures.
Based on this, the coach and coachee work on how the existing characteristics in the EQ-I profile can be harmonized for the coachee and what added value this creates.
In conclusion, it can be said that
Unlike personality, which is considered relatively stable over time, emotional intelligence skills can be learned and developed over the course of professional development.
The EQ 360 assessment provides the coachee with a more in-depth analysis by gathering information from a person’s stakeholders. This results in a more complete 360-degree profile.
